In the 7th century AD, Emperor Tiberius building a new road, began to build a bridge across a river. The bridge took 7 years for the Emperor's workmen to complete. Tiberius decided to ask the devil for help. They agreed that the devil would build the bridge in a day, but he would receive the soul of the first person to cross the bridge in return. As told, devil built the bridge overnight. However, the Emperor played a trick by sending a dog across the bridge. The devil didn't expect this - he got terribly angry and decided to destroy the bridge. He tried to destroy it several times, but the bridge was so well built that even the devil himself could not demolish it. Only one big stone has fallen off, and it is still lying there, near the bridge.
